Nice present from the boys to Redden for his 1000 games:

One more before bed:

THE STATS GUY ‏@TH2NSTATSGUY

Craig Anderson: sets modern day NHL record for save percentage in a season (.941).....previous record, .940 (Brian Elliott in 2011-12)

Made a huge difference. Galley is great...Potvin is borderline incoherent. Potvin would be a great guy to go have a beer with, but he's just no good at on-the-fly analysis.

We get Bob Cole for the play-by-play, and Cassie Campbell/Galley for the colour commentary for the playoffs.

I just ordered Game 6 tickets...way up in Row O, 300s.

Nice job by the boys. It was like a Sens reunion last night... Chara, Kelly, Redden, Daug... wonder why Chara was not in the pic?

Yeah, Neil is the best. He knew that this was the biggest game of the year, and put the team ahead of himself when he took on one of the scariest dudes in the NHL. Lucic was a non-factor after that fight.

Lucic also let Neil get up when he went down... so, gotta respect that. I saw it as a pretty even fight. Lucic has not been himself lately. That's for sure.

Chara wasn't in on the gift. Remember back when he lived on my street he wouldn't go halfsies with his neighbor on the fence between the two properties. He's a cheap SOB (Slovakian Oversized Behemoth).

Here's the video:

And a better view of the painting:

Must have had it commissioned before he got to the Bruins.

P.S. They added a little Bruins logo to his glove in the Blues uni.

You notice that #33 is missing from the numbers on the bottom of the painting.

Didn't Redden basically get Chara run out of Ottawa?

Probably had something to do with that senile GM we had. "You always liked Wade best!"

There were a group of players Chara alienated for sure... he "worked too hard". Redden and Heatley were at the head of that group along with Spezza. It was garbage the way Chara got treated on his way out of Ottawa.

His glasses were like a pair of windshields from a '73 Datsun.
