I honestly can't believe like Femme is saying, people are up in arms about a 6th D man being out of a lineup for a guy they feel may or may not need time in the AHL.

The lineup isn't final yet. It becomes final on gameday, usually just after the morning skate when the media reports it.

Anyway, to be honest, I'd rather see Rundblad in the lineup, because this year is all about the kids!

Because every game counts and we're not trying to lose the game. Rundlbad will be burned constantly by Datsyuk and Zetterberg tonight amongst others, you wait and see. It'll be epic. Whereas Lee is tough and would play the body and could possibly shut those guys down more than Rundblad can. Rundblad will be in awe all game, these are probably all idols to him, it's just a weird thing to do at this point in time. Don't we play them again later on in the season? That would be a better time to put him in.

There's really no point in arguing about this anymore, we all have different opinons on this. Let's just let the game speak for itself tonight.

Alright, it won't get THAT bad. Again, I doubt the difference in the game will be Rundblad vs. Lee. You could argue that Zib will have a tough time going up against Datsyuk and Zetterberg as well......let's just wait and see. If Rundblad pots a PP marker, we'll be eating our words!!!

As per Mendes: Patrick Eaves and Fabian Brunnstrom will be healthy scratches for DET tonight.

What it comes down to is MacLean doesn't want to scratch Kuba - yet. While I don't agree with sitting Lee, I'll be watching Rundblad like a hawk. Hope he's better than he was in pre-season, or he'll be looking at the back of Detroit's jerseys all game long as they walk around him.

BooBoo changing his tune: My guess is we won't see Rundblad tonight. Lee deserves the chance to play. If Konopka isn't totally healthy save him for Toronto.

There yah go, Lee is in. Rundblad not playing. Hope he gets sent down if he's going to sit though.
