Zetterberg must have sneezed on him.
Heh heh. Oops.

Spezza's line was +3, Alfie's was -7 (Alfie himself was -3).

Spezza's line had 9 shots (MM with 6); Filatov led that line in hits with 2.

Alfie's line had 5 shots (ZBad has 0); Greening and Zibanejad each had 4 hits.

Lee had twice as many hits as Neil (6 to 3).

Some encouraging stats, for sure, and some that we hope will change. Alfie may be babysitting, but he'll still want to do better than a -3.

That can't be right - I remember and they showed it on TSN, he had a backhander go right on target that Howard saved easily.

I would sit him out... have him better for the season opener at home. Leaving him in the lineup gives Colby Armstrong the opportunity to try to hit Alfie in the back as often as he can...

It was a shot that was going wide, so they didn't count it.

Really? It's still a shot if it hits the goalie though, or it should be. So if the shot is still going wide and Howard puts it in trying to save it, that counts as a goal without a shot? Because the shot was going wide, remember...

That would be a goal and a shot, but if a goalie gloves a puck that's going wide, it isn't rules a shot.
