They did. Again I want to ask... where's this so called veto power by Bettman? If it exists and he is prepared to use it to prevent Tampa from trading Vinny, why not save Atlanta's franchise player?

Only way I can see Atlanta winning this trade now is if Kovalchuk gets injured for the season and playoffs while at the Olympics.

Cuz everyone knows Kovie was walking at seasons end and this trade is better then nothin.

that first round pick better turn into a superstar cause the rest of that trade package isn't worth the paper that it got faxed into NHL headquarters on.
