If they get Giroux then the top-six is set.

Sens have to move a goalie. They need to move Zaitsev. If Giroux is brought in they need to make room and trading Brown makes the most sense (since he's aiming to test free agency after next season). Those are the pieces to move and they need to bring in a top-4. Others could be added to round things out (Thomson, JBD, Brannstrom).

Drafting Shean Donavan’s son is a nice move by the org. He was ranked fairly higher by several draft report so I dont think people will,play the nepotism card to justify the pick

Yeah but these guys will make the nhl in 4-5 years if they ever do. It’s not something to consider.

As for Donovan I agree. If they really wanted to play nepotism they’d probably draft DJs son. I bet he gets a camp invite though.

Donavan’s son actually like a very decent prospect

I’m actually quite satisfied with how the sens drafted and the type of players they took. Which actually scares me as they do quite well when I don’t agree with them

Anyone have a run down on the goalie we took? I see he’s 6.6 but I imagine there’s more to him than size.

At 18 years old that's pretty much all they can be sure of. It's something you can't teach and it's something that's pretty hard to get wrong.
