forwards
Michalek, spezza, Perry
Silf, Turris, Alfie
Noeson, Z smith, Zib
daug, JOB, neil.
and then we have a few extra kids from bingo that could easily slide in and i'd actually consider bringing latendresse back if he can continue the way he has. just an alright guy to have around in case of injuries.

defense is ridiculous as well
we might look to add a RH d-man thru trade, someone with experience and plenty of skill to play the second pairing

Your lineup lacks Greening and Condra, both of whom I see returning.
wow! you're right. Condra is very important to this team. Greening i could see him getting traded if we end up having Noesan making the jump.

Noesen isn't far off either and he and Stone will be the first callups up front.
I'm having my first coffee so i didn't even think of stone. man the depth is amazing. again we have enough depth to bring in a great top 4 D.
if Perry comes this could be the perfect time for murray to pull the trigger on a spectacular deal to go for the cup.

really? Bogosian? you make them an offer they can't refuse...

He's got to be the most improved callup player. He is Karlsson Jr. out there. No where near as skilled but he's getting more confident and not afraid to hold on to the puck and make plays. Got a great shot from the point it seems too.

I think that's been his game all along. It just needed to translate into the AHL then the NHL.

Next year, our big acquisition will be Dan Boyle mid-season, once the Sharks are out of contention. With or without Gonchar, he'd be a good add.

I'd say we pay what we have to pay and grab Bogosian or guy like him.
I' not sure what's the depth for winnipeg in net but i've read that they're not getting what they expected from pavelec.
would Bishop, Greening, Pumpel and next years 2nd or 1st land him for us? that's a lot of pieces that they could use.

Jets aren't trading Bogosian, makes no sense for them, it'd be like us trading EK.

Only guys I could see them moving is Kane and Burmistrov (maybe more but I don't know their roster too well).

Safe to day the cup is coming to Parliament Hill. I've already started the countdown.

see, I disagree. if they are not satisfied with the way pavelec is playing and they do want to bring a young guy to push him or maybe take over then the choices are Bishop or Bernier. I think Bernier might end up in calgary or possibly in toronto. then you add guys they are needing. Pumpel or possibly stone. they need prospects. especially if you're following the logic that Kane would be traded(which i don't think he would be) then you add a 1st or 2nd. maybe you make a bigger trade and ad Boro if they need some D.
all i know is they have enstrom and Dustin on D and you can't part with nothing to get something.
I also believe the second Bogo hits UFA he will bolt. and with him hitting RFA next year they might have a situation on their end if they can't see eye to eye.

They have Enstrom and Buff as their top pairing. Hainsey is a UFA and eating up big minutes for them. Bogosian is an RFA this summer, which ups the pressure on the Jets.

I think Cowen + Bishop and maybe a mid-round pick for Bogosian makes sense from both sides, since Bishop would be a huge upgrade on Montoya and provide good competition to Pavelec and Cowen becomes the Defensive rock on their blueline longterm.

I'd trade Cowen for Stewart, St. Louis needs an LHD badly to play with Pietrangelo etc. They're also a budget team and I doubt they can afford Stewart this summer, along with their other RFAs.

As for Bishop, the goalie market is oversaturated right now, you also got Schneider/Luongo as well on there.

I know Cowen is the new trade pond around here but that's a guy I keep if i'm the sens.
I think you package picks or and prospects for bogo. not a guy that is looking like a legit top 4. I think the jets are gonna be in the Dung when it comes to re-upping bogo. he's gonna want big money and short term so he can hit FA. I think they are better off getting some assets back and they are looking to improve their G. thery also don't want to overspend as a team right now so i doubt they go the louongo shneider way. they are a perfect trade partner if you ask me.

I think they are in discussion right now with Hainsey and that might have more to do with Bogo then we think.

Winnipeg is not trading Bogosian... they also have Trouba coming up who is a RH Cowen clone.

Cowen could be shipped out but it would not be for anything less than a package deal to get an Eberle type player.

I don't want to trade Cowen either but if we do that's what I would do.

I think Pavelec is a decent goalie, he's been unstoppable at times.

The Jets defence is awful, he gets hung out to dry most nights. Not sure if its Noel or their roster. Buff and Enstrom aren't known to be defensive specialists.

yeah you're right but I think if Winni doesn't mae the playoffs Noel gets canned. he's been the target of those discussions this year.
my reasoning is they might get the best return for Bogo now as opposed to after if he goes for high money short term. get a team where he wants to go(i'm not assuming ottawa is that but maybe) and get a good return back. sure they get a hole back there but they have to know that they're a team that might have problems keeping some of their players.
I think if they can lock up Hainsey they'll try and see what they can get done with Bogo way before the draft and if there's some problems he'll be moved.

Bogo will demand a trade to Ottawa. more to come

Why the hell would they lock up Hainsey? He's a dime a dozen D man that can be had anywhere. I would take Benoit over Hainsey at this point.

Well if Bogo doesn't want to stay in Winnipeg, I doubt he'd like it in Ottawa.

I doubt they will fire Noel, he was their guy when they hired him. The Jets are still the Thrashers for the most part. I don't think there is any playoff expectations they need a few years to rebuild most of that roster.

Ignoring goalies who have played fewer than 5 games, Bishop is 9th in SV%. Rinne is 24th, Price 25th, Schneider 30th, Luongo is 26th.

I don't think the market is over-saturated with goalies in the top-10 SV%. I don't think anyone wants Luongo now, and Vancouver is probably not as willing to move him now.
