That's how he plays, even in Sweden. He doesn't have Karlsson's skating ability and that's why it often looks like he is nonchalant.

Karlsson did the right thing, if he lets him go there he would skate right into the slot. Ovechkin made a nice move, simple as that.

OK, then it's just execution. He let him go wide on him and was struggling to catch up all the rest of the way. There was another play in the 1st when he got caught looking at the puck and Ovechkin turned him inside out.

He wasn't even struggling to catch up, he kept Ovechkin to the outside which is what you want to do there. Just a great move and shot by Ovechkin, really not a lot to it. Great players make great plays.

He *was* struggling to catch up. Ovechkin kept ahead of him the whole way and Karlsson was so intent on catching him that he forgot that the guy can also stop on a dime.

Spezza is frustrating, but Greening and Butler are not helping.

Also, I think that would be a great experiment. I'd love to see how that works out. We'd have a very young 2nd and 3rd line, but I think it would be worth a shot. Teams would put everything they could against our 1st line, but I think the other two would contribute a lot and the 1st would still be able to produce.

I believe Neil went to the dressing room after that spear. So it was more than a tap. The commentars said it was a dirty play...

Players have been kicked out of the game for much less than what Ovey did... It was a deliberate attempt to injure -- should have been 5 and a game...
