Neely more or less got us started in the Entry Draft Watch thread. I'd like to see more mock drafts (mostly since I have no idea who'll fall where) and because it'll be cool to see who came closest.

This is Neely's from the other thread:

NRH
Larsson
Huberdeau
Landeskog
Couturier
Zibenejed
Strome
Hamilton
McNeil (love him like Landeskog)
Murphy

Anyone else want to take a crack at it?

^ Wow, thanks. That's wicked. I've looked at a few, but having them compiled like that is very helpful. Cheers

Yeah, I love mock drafts. I'm really pumped for Friday. Weirdly so.

A couple of those mocks were clearly made before the Lottery. Either way, several of them have us picking Couturier. I can get behind that. As has been said, we just need one of Strome, Hamilton, Murphy or a surprise pick in the top-5 to be able to draft an excellent forward. I like the sound of Couturier. I like that his slide can be attributed to something in the past (mono). Similar to Cowen and Stone (as I think Neely pointed out), who took hits to their draft positioning based on similar circumstances, Couturier might slide to sixth.

I can't wait. Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh!

It's along the same lines of how MPS was MSP before. Turns out his name is actually Nugent Ryan-Hopkins. Sarcasm

Ha, I guess, but I think the teams in front will take skill over grit.

No chance Landeskog goes after Couturier, none.

Because Landeskog is a superior player and is projected to be the better NHLer.
