Someone should ask him if he is focusing on his practice this morning and if he is eating correctly. I think there might be a hidden message when KK said "he needs to do the righ things without the puck". Well eating and thinking off the ice is what he meant, he doesn't have the puck at that point.

I think someone should point that out to them and give him their opinion because he cares. This like past post would not be creepy at all.

I like that the kid is lighting up the AHL and we're talking about his social media life. WTF. Yeah, apparently the kid doesn't like to practice that hard. Are we forgetting everything that's been said about him for the past couple of years? Are we surprised by this?

He is talented, and he has a work ethic problem. We knew this. The question is: Will someone get through to him before he's run out of opportunities with the Sens?

Nice thing is we're already seeing what a proven AHL lineup can do for this kids development. I think scoring on a consistent basis will reap benefits for him and the big club real soon.

Absolutely. If nothing else, this will build his confidence back up. It's funny…this sort of thing seems exactly like what Zibanejad needs, but unfortunately, he can't go down there. I think, if Z-Bad goes back to the SEL for a season, he'll end up spending a bit of next season in the AHL for this "confidence-builder".

With Filatov, we need to get his confidence really high and then put him on a top two line…he's not the kind of guy that can play on the 3rd and 4th line…that's just pointless.

I wonder if it's his workout/eating regime because from most accounts he's been pretty decent away from the puck. I noticed KK's comments as well: "Filatov has the tools w/ the puck, there's no concern about that..what we are trying to do his round out his game more away from the puck..if we can get that through to him then boy are we going to have one special player.."

That's why we signed vets like Parrish, hopefully we can get him on the right program, but he's in good hands down there.

Ohnoes!

I'd bribe him with cash money. Lots of it.

Meh...if KK gets the chance to go to the NHL, he will. There's not much anyone can do about that.

I have no doubt that the Murrays will be able to find a suitable replacement though...I mean, just look at their track record of hiring coaches! Impeccable!

Who knows how good of an NHL coach KK would be, not the same thing as AHL coaching. He coached the best team Bingo has had in a long time to the Cup, Clouston or Nuchbaur might have done the same.

Given a choice I prefer the guy from the Red Wings myself.

Were you born an bunghole or did you have to train up?

He wasn't being serious, he was just trying to have a laugh at my expense.
