Players like Kelly, Fisher, Neil, Phillips, Spezza and Alfredsson are fixtures here.

Because he's in that group, I doubt Kelly (or Fisher, for that matter) gets dealt even if it means making room for, or getting a better player.

Redden was a fixture here, too. Just sayin'

P.S. Clutch, did you change something? When I reply to a post (quote) the message box is way at the bottom of the page -- I actually have to scroll down *after* clicking "Quote" in order to type my reply. The top of the page holds the previous 5 posts, which used to be below the reply box.

I PMd Clutch but no reply yet. I looked around the admin panels and found nothing. But I *did* make a small tweak. Now when you go to the next page in a thread, the last 3 posts from the previous page are displayed at the top. Let me know if you think this is useful. It give a little context and may help when you're posting replies in a fast-filling thread.

disagree. if the right deal came along fisher, kelly, and spezza could all be traded. Neil too, unlikely, but I don't consider Neil a fixture; he's more a fan favourite than a fixture.

Fan favourite = Fixture

If we get Seidenberg and can keep Sutton and Cullen, you wouldn't do it?

Phillips Karlsson
Seidenberg Sutton
Cowen Carkner

Looks pretty solid and intimidating to me...

I can't see Carkner being on the team next season.

Why?

700 grand
physical presence
moves the puck

I would rather him than campoli

He's a liability defensively and has only stayed on the team because of his fighting.

someone has to do it, and at 700k and averaging 16 minutes a game he is useful-im sure Neil appreciates the help.
