What a disapppintment!! Absolutely upsetting......

I was really hoping it would be 4-2 Atlanta so my prediction would be right.

I'll take anything for those guys (I'd like to keep Shannon, but if he has to go so Cheechoo goes, I'm all in).

Dallas have no RWs, No offense from the back end and have been shöpping Brunnstrom for some time (allegedly).

I've come to the conclusion that our biggest need is a playmaking LW, Grossman is a shot-blocking, defensive D.

Fine, whatever. Then we can deal Volchenkov for a forward prospect and hopefully start the ascension from the ashes of hell here.

What do the Oilers and Sens have in common?

Whatever???

I put a lot of thought into this. Usually I would say this: GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Atlanta Thrashers - 7:00pm ET - Tue. Jan. 12th, 2010 - Page 36 270956

Or: Mike Fisher blah, blah, blah, Hands of Stone Kelly, blah, blah...

Besides, I dealt Volchenkov, Fisher and Foligno for Dumont and Weber already.

You'd immediately win the GM of the year award and perhaps you could think about hiring Poile when he gets fired as GM of the Preds?

I guess you could make the deal more fair for both sides with picks and prospect going either way.

Volchenkov, Fisher, Foligno, Lee, 1st for Dumont and Weber and a 3rd?

I'd rather gamble with Brunnstrom's blazing speed and expiring, two-way contract than Cheechoo's bad luck and his deal with remaining term.

which is why they probably wouldnt consider trading him for cheechoo. unless they really think they could get cheech going, and i think we all know how that works out.

Shhhh. Let's pretend they don't follow hockey that much and they're really interested in this former 50 goal man (who now would be lucky to score 15).

To add Shannon and Campoli I think they could live with Cheechoo. Specially with the Brunnstrom/Cheechoo contracts being a wash. Besides, they have better playmaking Centers in the #1 and #2 spots. He'd have a better chance of succeding there.
