I'm so desperate for skills I've already forgotten the useless spezza we had. Sad times
Well, hopefully he comes back 100% and can get on a freaking roll. If he comes back and plays the same as he was before the injury... then all hope will be lost...SpezDispenser wrote:marakh wrote:SpezDispenser wrote:Holy cow, Spezza is joining the team on Friday. I was saying that at lunch. I don't even give a Dung anymore, I'll take Spezza back and forget about how much he blew.

Looks like Fishers success is more important than team success.

So long as he's not taking PP time away from Karlsson, I don't care.
But if I see our first powerplay unit rolling out a Fisher - Shannon point tandem with Karlsson fully rested on the bench, I'm done with this season.

Prepare to be done. For some diddled-up reason, Clouston refuses to send out Karlsson on PP1. It infuriates me. What do we have to lose? Is he afraid we won't score on the PP?

Well, he was carrying the team when he was successful... wasn't he?SeawaySensFan wrote:Apparently putting Fisher on the point is not to improve the PP but simply to get Fisher in a shooting position more easily. "Get Fish going", if you will.

Looks like we are back to the same old "get Fisher going story".
This is exactly why he's not on Team Canada. He doesn't make the players around him better, rather the opposite. I love the guy, but that's the cold hard truth.
