That's pretty much saying, Hey media and fans, blame the management not us.
Actually let me correct that. Not courageous, more like ball-sy from someone who isn't known to speak that much.

How deliciously dysfunctional. He's basically $hitting on his team mates with a statement like that too. Interestingly, and this is just an educated guess on my part, they seem to have shipped out a lot of character.

100% right. That's a clear message that he doesn't think the guys sitting in the room can get the job done (the empirical data would that position). It's also a message that he thinks his boss's boss is doing a bad job.

That room must be a mess right now.

Dany Heatley scored 50 in Ottawa, but that didn't end well either.

Kessel is better-suited to go play somewhere where no one gives a Dung about hockey, like Dallas.

Yeah, these are different times though. We're into more of a two-way game now, and Kessel is locker-room poison from the get-go. He's not suited to markets where the media's in your face every day.

I agree he'll never work in Toronto, but let's be honest, in Ottawa it's Karlsson show, there's Bobby Ryan, Craig Anderson, 2 rookies leading the team right now, and all kinds of supporting cast for the future along with good leadership already in charge.
He'd be perfect here.

He helped them get within 4. He didn't do much in the Finals.
