The run on goalies right before they picked was probably huge... run on D right after them is probably a good sign as well. All they are doing is adding depth, depth, depth which is exactly what you want.

I know nothing about him but based on where the picked him there is probably zero potential to be an offensive D man or anything more than that and probably close to zero downside. Probably a guy that just comes in, does his job, goes home.

Yeah most scouts see him as a kid with a very strong chance to play NHL in some capacity - whether a top-4 shutdown, or a physical bottom pairing.

Yup, gets 2, 3 years to fill out before he is even given a chance to play in Bingo, another 2, 3 years in the AHL... probably hit around the 220-225 lb mark in that time... takes him to about age 23, 24.

Tiny though... imo they will be looking for a bigger winger but no denying his skill set and production.

Connor Chatham IMO could be a guy the Sens swing for.
