Preds have nice pieces, Salomaki IMO is a player that could turn into a very, very solid NHLer.  Also like their 2015 first rounder and if they believe Spezza and Neal will turn them into a playoff team along with Weber, Josi, and Rinne, it could be had.  Roster player coming back?  I would say Craig Smith, Jarnkrok, or Forsberg.

Spezza has to waive though, truth be told Nashville is a nice soft landing sport for a guy like Spezza. Haven't heard a bad word about the city either.

Ottawa's 1st pick coming up... Sens lucked out by a run on goalies right before they picked, real lucky.

Andreaus Englund... no clue.

Keep building that blueline.

No idea about this guy.

Would not be surprised if he was a top 3 D man on the Sens list in the entire draft.

Englund - Long-term project, primarily a defensive d-man.

Has a bit of a nasty side, Sens probably hoping he develops this into a regular facet of his game.

The run on goalies right before they picked was probably huge... run on D right after them is probably a good sign as well. All they are doing is adding depth, depth, depth which is exactly what you want.

I know nothing about him but based on where the picked him there is probably zero potential to be an offensive D man or anything more than that and probably close to zero downside. Probably a guy that just comes in, does his job, goes home.

Safe pick, guy is probably a solid skater, will fill in, does the little things right, and just plays hard.

Still hoping Sens grab Jared Hauf with a late pick. Just a monster of a D-man, in every sense of the word
