Donovan expected to be out 6-8 weeks with knee injury

You're absolutely right Spez. Cooke has been around this league long enough, he knew exactly what he was doing when he hit Dono. Just look at the score of the game and the time that was left. Two questionable moves by Bylsma -- the Cooke hit, and having Godard out on the ice with less than two minutes to play. Don't fines usually follow in the later case??

If it turns out to be the ACL too (as per the Murray interview), Donovan could be done. Shame.

Damn... well hopefully it's just 5-6 weeks. I blew my MCL out once before... not fun. At least he won't need surgery.

“It’s his MCL (medial collateral ligament) for sure and he’s having an MRI to see if it’s the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament), too. We won’t know until tomorrow,” said Murray.

They're going to do an MRI to see if his ACL is also an issue. MCL is for sure.
