Cammalleri - Gomez - Gionta is talented, but miniscule. Many feel that wasn't the direction they should be targetting.

I don't think Montreal got any better to be honest with you, subtract Kovalev, Koivu, and Tanguay (most dominant line at some points last season), add Cammalleri (bust in playoffs), Gionta (will never say anything bad about Gionta), and Gomez (will never say anything good about Gomez), lose out on Komisarek to Toronto, then sign Gill (who really isn't that great) and get Spacek (not convinced on him either). Even after all that chemistry upsetting Gainey did, he still has a broken young man as a starting goalie that will ensure this team stays down.

what a steal for boston, by the time Murray is able to spend, everyone is going to be gone.

But teams know that lol. It's like when Schaefer wanted out, and Comrie waited around to re-sign... no coincidence Schaefer was moved shortly after Comrie signed elsewhere (NYI).

Ottawa is screwed right now - they will probably be stuck with Heatley until next year. The question is, does he play or not?

and if he even plays, how well will he play, will he sulk, will he disrupt team chemistry. Clouston would rather tell him to stay home if he was going to be a big baby.

I think it's a great deal for ATL. He played extremely well in NY last season after the trade.

What you say seems rational, BUT Heatley is Diddle in the head, he will either holdout or sulk and play like crap. His character tells me he is not the type of person to step up to challenges. He has shown time and again, he would rather run away than step up to a challenge.
