The Wild are alive...with a dominant win over the Flames. There are still four teams trying to cling to the caboose on the Western playoff train. The Ducks, Blues, Preds and Wild prepare for a quartet of do or die games.

In the East, nothing is settled. The Sabres rise from the dead, with a game in hand over the Panthers and Rangers, just a razor's edge away. There will be no quarter given from here on in.

That's great news for hockey fans.
