What's even more funny is that Ovechkin feels Michalek should have gotten suspended for "ducking" right before the hit and that's why there was contact with his head.

Mind boggling.

EDIT: my bad, he was referring to the hit Michalek delivered but received no supplemental discipline.

Yep. Pierre Mcguire was all over it on the NBC broadcast. He figured it'd be reviewed. It should've been a five-minute major AND a long suspension. Inexcusable...OV can be reckless.
