In the comment section lots of plugs for Stamkos, Tavares, the Sedins, etc. Not a single comment about Karlsson, THN's cover boy for February. Why not? I think he could really standout in this type of game.

By the way, I don't remember it being mentioned before, but whoever has already seen the scoreboard, you ain't seen nuthin' yet. Apparently the cables required to pipe HD content into the scoreboard were only installed during the Sens' recent road trip.

It's like when my parents first got their brand new 42" HDTV they really loved the picture, until the HD cable box arrived. Well, until after I told them where the HD channels were.

My kid's got *two* games today -- 2PM and 8PM. I was actually thinking about it, earlier. Oh, well, we'll record it and have the best seats in the house. As for the game itself I had assumed it would be nearly impossible to get tickets so I wasn't even thinking about it.

Alfredsson is doing the hardest shot competition? Really? After Spezza won it at the Sens' skills competition you'd think it would go to him.

Gaston Gingras? #29 for the Habs back in the 80s. Won a Cup with them in '86 (that was his second stint with the Habs -- he spent a couple of years with the Leafs then got traded from the Leafs' AHL club to the Habs' one in Sherbrooke, and got called up half way through.

I remember he had a fantastic booming shot but his accuracy was so piss-poor that the joke was, whenever he wound up, go stand in front of the net to be safe.
