Way to go Brian Elliott! When he's introduced, that should stick it to all the nay-sayers. He didn't deserve the rough treatment he got here. I still remember against detroit when Clouston pulled Lehner after allowing 3 quick goals to put elliott in, and then got booed for it.....good for him!

Lidstrom isn't there because he sent word ahead of time that he wanted the weekend off.

I doubt you would have 3 Hawks in there, 2 of which are lower in the scoring ranks, and leave young Eberle off the team.

Looks like Deputy Douchebag and Rob Blake picked the remaining players. Which explains a lot.

Greening posted a franchise record fast-skating time. My guess is that's why he's there -- he can put on a show for the fans. There is no skills competition for standing someone up at the blue line, or clearing out the crease.
