Why did Foligno pass there with a wide open shooting lane 6 feet from the net?

He doesn't normally have a pass first mentality. I get that there was potential for a give-and-go, but why not shoot there?

OK, this is when we need to see some run support. Elliott let in a stinker, sure, but he didn't have a chance on the Byron goal. Not gonna win many games 1-0.

EDIT: Dean Brown "I can understand why Ruff is upset." Haha. Absolutely. No question. That really should have been called back. Foligno tried to go through Miller to get at Kaleta. (I think it was Kaleta)

Fisher misses the net on a great chance. Going to OT!

Potvin says, "You'd think the Senators don't want to go to the shootout." You think? Cuss he annoys me. I don't care if Buffalo hasn't lost in a SO this year (which happens to be the case), we don't want to go to a shootout with anyone.

Sabres win in OT.

EDIT: Kelly came off the ice, had to yell and scream to get someone to get on the ice. Kovalev got there in time to watch the goal hit the back of the net.

Just got in from the game. One of the most boring games I've ever seen until the last 6 minutes or so.

My kid for got to pad it Facepalm

I got to watch about a minute and a half of OT before it stopped. What happened to the Barfalo player in the boards. The guy was crawling off the ice on all fours, but the hit didn't look at all bad.
