GAME DAY:Buffalo Sabres @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - TUE. Jan. 25, 2011
"Imagine the freedom"
"Imagine the freedom"
The Ottawa Senators (17-25-7, 41pts) host the Buffalo Sabres (22-21-5, 49pts). Ottawa always seems to get up for these games but with only one win for the month of January it's pretty safe to say the Tank Bus will stay on course. Buffalo is 6-3-1 in their last 10 games and pushing for a shot at the playoffs. Even with all the injuries they're finding ways to stay in the hunt. This bodes well for Ottawa in their quest for the lotto pick.
At this point I am just excited to see all the new faces and to see the young guys assert themselves and perhaps bust out of the rolls they were cast into early on. Foligno has been impressive lately and really taken this opportunity and ran with it. Winchester has been quite impressive too and recent call up Butler has done everything but score. It's about time he put some pucks in the net though because shots and scoring chances are nice but if he can't produce soon I fear his prime ice time may come to an end sooner rather than later.
