We got it the first 23,000 times. Kindly add something to the discussion or STFU.

Now the question becomes: given we lost 6-1 to the Thrashers, are the Blackhawks going to break triple digits? GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Atlanta Thrashers - 7:00pm ET - Tue. Jan. 12th, 2010 - Page 28 270956

Worst goalies in the league and chooch is a mess. I called it from day 1

Blah blah blah. You called from day one. We're all so proud of you.

There, there is the recognition you so obviously crave here.

The goaltending is EXACTLY what I said it is. Its awful. Blame Eli all you want, that is just one more way to avoid the truth. You guys amuse me.

Before I fully come over to the darkside of Eli blaming, this could also be true. As far as I can tell Eli hasn't ruined an NHL great yet. Maybe he just can't make miracles happen.

Anyway, as downright embarrassing as tonight's showing was, even a rebuilt team is not going to overcome ridiculous injuries.

Murray's tenure has been up and down but Muckler's inability to bring in quality young pieces is really hurting this team's offence right now. The remedy to that will probably take some time.

The fanbase is fickle but it needs to be done if we really want to become a contender again. If you tell the fanbase you are going to rebuild then I think they will take it a little better then if you try to tell them you are close and ice a medicore team with a horrible defense and goalies.

I don't think we need a re-build, I'd say we need some work done on the D and we're back into it. We need a goalie, but we have Lehner who'll play in the NHL after next season I think. We need some D-men - or one Dany Boyle and some tinkering - it's damn frustrating to still be saying this, but without a trade for a true number one, we'll be stuck in this rut for a long, long time. With the acquisition of an achor on the back end, we look a lot better and brighter - particularly with Karlsson, Cowen and hopefully Wiercioch coming up.

It must be "IN" to crap all over a team decimated by injuries...

It's like picking on... well, you know.

"You guys"? We are Sens fans, and as of now, I do not count you among us. Root for your home team or the Flames and don't bother pretending the Sens are anything but an amusement to you.

God, you're more annoying that Neely going on about Spezza. I can't believe I miss that poor flu-ridden SoB.

I don't mean a full rebuild or anything like that. I mean one where we don't keep resigning average players and go out and sign an over the hill Russian. We need to keep our core in place with maybe the exception of one or two of them and sell off any moveable assets we have. Keep the younger players, keep the core for the most part and rebuild in 2,3 or 4 years through the draft and trades.

Not reading any of the past posts. Has Eli even had a NHL great goalie.
