I haven't finished reading everyone's reactions to this yet, but I'm going to say that I would not want to deal Winchester. Sorry. Why can't it be Shannon or someone else?

Russell is useless to the Sens now. Winchester is a nice player, but come on, in order to get Filatov, you give him up.

I would think that Lee/Campoli and Foligno for Filatov and a mid-round pick would work for both sides.

Just an observation. I personally don't care for Russell that much. He's locked up for 3 years beyond this season. There's value in that, I guess.

Fair enough, I've changed my mind. I don't know what kind of crack I was on for a second there, but the buzz has gone.

Do it up! I will say that I wouldn't want to trade A-Train for him though, that's one of my untouchables to be added to that Alfie, Spezz, Mich, Fisher.

The more I think about it, the more it would make sense for them to trade him (Filatov) Whether it's going to be to us is another question.
