Yaaaaaa, well in Ottawa it was a problem, that's why one of the crew went to rehab.

If someone busts a rail here and there, w/e, someone wants to pop a pill and have a good night out, go for it. A wed night after a game and then going home to do some more, its a problem. Drugs is what destroyed Ottawa, trust me on that one.

That's what irks me I guess... if they're into heavy stuff... it boggles my mind... to be honest, I see weed as being no different than booze... but coke, e, heroin etc... is some scary crap.

I don't want this to turn into a detailed drug analysis so I'll leave it at that. The Sens have/had issues... they need to be addressed/cleaned up... we seem to be on the way... we'll get there.

and i'll back murray if it's his line of thinking. the way i look at it, ottawa might be making major adjustments next year so it won't be a surprise if they don't make the playoffs. as long as i see a team going out there giving it their all. i have to agree that heatley is/ was poison for the team. just by hearing the views he holds for himself, there's no room for growth.

if we can get anything in the top 5 picks this year plus a prospect and a good player oi'll be more then happy.

i highly doubt that hockey players are doing heroin... that is an extreme downer and puts you in no mood to exercise and your body deterirates pretty fast. trust me

ice or cocaine(especialy cocaine), are party drugs that can and do develop into habits. bad habits. very common to people with to much $$$ in their hands.

Heroin sounds like exactly something Heatley could be on considering his over all deminor.

Ive never done coke but Ive seen more of it than I care to admit. I would say coke is the money drug vs ice though.

Considering Heatley's past, drugs are the last thing he should be doing. I pray to God he ain't, because I've seen to many talented people go down into the gutter because of bad habits.

And at his age, to put up those numbers.

I know he digressed in the defensive zone, but he's only 2 years removed from a Norris nomination (unless I dreamt that).

You're not dreaming, but it's actually pretty difficult to justify that nomination.

He's just not good defensively. Not good.
