He had a great rookie year...wasn't expecting anything from him now, just saying he sucks and he should hit that open net no matter how bad he is! lol

Meh, that's just bad luck but those scoring chances are few and far between.

I'm finding it harder to really care who we draft this year.

Whether it's Larsson, RNH, Strome, Couturier or Landeskog this team will be a bottom feeder in the East for years.

Who are head and shoulder better then The Sens going forward? Philly, Tampa, Bos, Wash, and Pitt... every other team Ottawa can compete with no problem and they can absolutely push for a playoff spot next year, I'm not saying they will get there but they are not Florida, NYI, Atlanta, or hell, even Toronto.

They are on par with Montreal, Carolina, NYR, NJ, Buffalo, and maybe to a little lesser extent, Tampa.

Wishful thinking from a tanking enthusiast?

Well, next years success or lack there of will be 100% dependant on Anderson signing and playing at least 55-60 games.

I think people are dreaming if they think Col/Edm won't be finishing 1, 2 despite my past comments because I was clearly way off in thinking Colorado was capable of winning a game.

Maybe if we resign Anderson and he plays like he did last year. We also need a coach who knows what a PP is, but so far all signs point to Dave Cameron as the next coach

Except for Spezza we don't have any real talent up front except for 9MM and hopefully Butler if he pans out(who knows at this point). We're also going to have a bunch of rookies on D who will be making mistakes every game.

Last but not least I think it's going to be a long few years because Melnyk is already convinced we'll be in the playoffs next year, I'd feel better if he kept his mouth shut

Not sure what signs there are but to me I think Clouston is going to be here for another year. He knows who is bread and butter players are and he treats them as such, he's also good with the youngers guys coming in, Karlsson and Lee are great examples of a guy who knows how to bring along young prospects.

We still have Alfi for at least another year and there is 100% a top 5 draft pick/forward coming in next year as well.

Butler/Spezza/Michalek
Alfi/Regin(probably where he starts)/Landeskog (seems the most likely).

That's not a great top 6, not awful either. Probably on par with teams like the ones I mentioned. You are rght in saying everything is basically on whether they sign Anderson or not... if they don't it will be a year of losing for sure.
