I am assuming none of the rookie games get televised, would love to see them, but well, shan't be making the trip to Ontario for them.

I'll even gladly take Team 1200 coverage.

Not sure about televised but they were recorded last year. They only sold tickets to the half of the arena so it looked sold out for the cameras.

I could live with that too, better than nothing or trying to find the results buried on the TSN website.

Last year the NHLnetwork showed the entire Traverse tourney, so hopefully they will show this.

Anyone else going to check out the Rookie practice tomorrow afternoon? (2pm)

I guess they'll add Bailey to the show in Kitchener.....

The Ottawa Senators announced the club has acquired right-winger Jason Bailey from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for left-winger Shawn Weller.

Bailey, 22, was Anaheim's third-round selection (63rd overall) in the 2005 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Last year, Bailey played 35 games with the ECHL'S Bakersfield Condors, recording two assists and 44 penalty minutes. He also played in two games with the American Hockey League's Iowa Chops.

An Ottawa native, Bailey played two years of college hockey at the University of Michigan from 2005-06 to 2006-07 before spending the following two seasons with his hometown Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League. In 69 regular-season games with Ottawa, he scored 15 goals and added 18 assists while recording 166 penalty minutes. He added two assists and 17 penalty minutes in eight career OHL playoff games.

Bailey will join the Senators roster for their annual rookie camp, which begins tomorrow at Scotiabank Place.

Weller, 23, was Ottawa's first third-round selection (77th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. In the 2008-09 season, he played in 70 games for the AHL's Binghamton Senators, recording four goals and five assists while adding 57 penalty minutes. He scored one goal, one assist and had two penalty minutes in four games with the ECHL's Elmira Jackals

I think the news that Wednesday's game will be covered was a mistake. That game actually takes place at 2pm, whereas Thursday's game takes place at 7pm and Rogers has "hockey" as their listing between 7:00-9:30pm
