Seriously, have you ever heard this guy on the radio? He does a phone-in interview with Team1200 (listen online) every morning just after 8 (sometimes earlier, but they replay it) and it's a different guy. Calm, knowledgeable, witty. You'd almost think it's not the same person. My theory is that caffeine makes him behave a little like Hammy from Over the Hedge. He certainly looks and sounds like an over-excited squirrel on TSN; but when he's on the radio in the morning (perhaps before the first coffee of the day has kicked in) he is a different person.

Unacceptable by a vet D man like Phillips. I dont care if he isnt supposed to be on the PP at all. Phillips is having serious issue, like I have been saying.

The sens need to pick it up or this is going to be a long game. It looks like they are all scared. Spezza needs to start moving his feet.

Spezza has barly been on the ice. The D is playign awful and the forwards are leaving the zone early. Phillips needs to pick it up big time!

Those short-handed goals are brutal.

We're getting killed in the faceoff.

Spezza has made some good passes into the slot but the Habs are expecting it so they are on our players. I am so tired of the Jesus Price talk. God its like watching a game with Crosby.

I still think its time we get rid of Phillips, he isnt the D man he was 2 years ago.

What are you talking about? He moved in, Vermette was supposed to take his place. Instead he skated to center and left Higgins all alone.

Habs were on fire (but I thought they got away with a ton of stuff). Sens got caught back on their heels, but have slowly begun to turn it around. As one-sided as it seemed to be at first (9-2 in shots at one point?) they still had quite a few very, very good chances.

Spezza's playing a very strong game, but what's with the face offs all of a sudden?

Yeah, he's the Hockey Insider on the Fan 590 here in Toronto on Thursdays I think. He's so much better on the radio, doens't get all crazy. I suspect he's only like that for games and when he's going over video highlights.

He should stick to radio.

He knows a lot and knows a crap load about every team's prospects and prospects over in Europe etc...

With 10 seconds on the PP he is pinching in and firing into traffic, thats a rookie mistake!!! Thats basic hockey.

They picked up their pace after the first 10min. The second is looking promising. I smell a couple of Sens goals.
