The Sens roll into Montreal on Remembrance Day to face the Habs who are coming off a sobering loss the Leafs on Saturday night. They'll surely be itching for a win, as will the Sens after their loss to Carolina... a game they could have won.

Hartsburg has publicly called Spezza out asking him to step up his game, hopefully we'll see a big game from him as well as Habs-Killah Alfie.

From TSN's Ice Chips: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?id=11009

Alex Auld will get the start in net Tuesday when the Senators face the Canadiens. Carey Price will get the call in goal when the Canadiens face the Senators on Tuesday. - TSN

Projected Lines vs. Habs

Forwards:
Spezza - Heatley - Vermette
Winchester - Fisher - Alfredsson
Ruutu - Kelly - Neil
Foligno - McAmmond - Donovan

Defence:
Phillips - Volchenkov
Picard - Kuba
Smith - Schubert
Richardson

Goaltender:
Auld

GO SENS GO!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing a little change on the lines tonight...or next game at least.

Harts should try Kelly on the top line again or my 1st choice would be to try Deano there.

Then, Verm can play with one or the other on the 3rd line.

Our second line is killer right now, no need to change it.

The top line ain't doing Dung right now, needs a change..Vermette doesn't seem to be fitting well there and they've had enough time to find the chemistry. It should be instant when you're playing with Spezz and Heater.

I still think Vermette's days are numbered as a Sen. If he doesn't fit on the top unit and our 2nd line is killer without him...how do you pay a guy 2.75 to play on the 3rd line?

Trade Vermette & ______ for J-BO and then go get Comrie at the deadline for half his salary and let's see what we can do from here on out.

Then next year, we are SET with our young lads coming up through the system...there won't be room for Vermette at all anymore. Guaranteed.

Well, where is Spezza in all this? He should be making Vermette better honestly. I think Vermette has played like garbage up there but Spezza hasnt been helping the guy out. The only time Spezza is creating any offense is when Heatley is open or on the PP.

Spezza really limits this teams options because he doesnt have the ability to play with anyone else but Heatley, so what do you do?

I disagree ... I just don't think Vermette has been a very good pass option. If he is open then Spezza will find him on the ice.

Spezza cant find anyone but Heatley and Alfredsson. There hasnt been 1 other player who has fit up there except Heatley and Alfi. Maybe it isnt everyone else on the team.

Heatley produces when he isnt with Spezza, Spezza doesnt. How is that not 100% clear by now to people.

Now, I do think Spezza has turned some parts of his game around, but I dont think for a second that Spezza has made the players around him better at all and still fails to produce without our 2 best players.

Comrie's a personal favourite for me. He still hasn't proven himself on any team though as a #1... and he's a 4th liner on NYI, yet his salary reflects that of a 1st or 2nd liner and unless he is going to stay on our team after this season, saying a trade does go down, and take a pay cut, then I don't see it happening.

I would definitely do Vermette and Schubert for Bouwmeester (a deal that actually went down in NHL 09 Smile ), and we could bring up Bass, Zubov or Smith.

Name all these other players who haven't fit up there with Spezza. Then tell me the career high in points for all those players.

Vermette is a 50 point guy, McAmmond has had some good season's, but that doesnt matter. You need a bit of skill up there, no doubt, but he is payed 7 million dollars a year to make others better. Numbers are used to often as excuses.

He's paid $7M because he's proven season after season he can put up big numbers. Spezza finds Heatley in ways that no one else on this team can. They have great chemistry. The fact that Spezza hasn't played well without Heatley is a moot point as they're on the same line.

Spezza is a playmaker. Sure, it would be nice if you could stick him with Neil and he would start potting goals, but that's not the reality.

His $7M is a bargain for what he brings, but he's getting a lot of slack right now as a well paid player who hasn't been producing.

I'd like to see Smith, Shannon, Zubov, or Regin (when he gets back) up with the big club. Surely one of these guys can fit into our top-6 the way they've been tearing it up.

I agree, I said Winchester and Vermette should switch places, but I remember you and I thought Kelly should get up there and tell Spezza and Heatley to 'do that fancy shit' and I've got your back.

Something's gotta break those two out of their slumps.

So, he cant produce with guys in the NHL, but yet all of the sudden he would produce with guys in the AHL.

Spezza has not proven anything other than he can put up the points on the 1st PP unit and playing with a top 3 goal scorer. How is he ANY different than a Marc Savard? He isnt.

Why would you screw with a 2nd line that seems to be producing and providing the secondary scoring we need? Spezza needs to get himself going and not screw with other players sucess on another line.

Why is that?

Because Montreal is a dirty team who is scorned right now. Just this bad feeling one of our players goes down. Likely from a boarding hit, by Lapierre likely.

I think we need to see a fight early on, Neil and Laraque.

I also predict we will have to endure some Spanish.
