It won't take as much. No chance ROR re-signs with Colorado after next year. They'll probably take Sens 1st and a high-end prospect. They rid themselves of a potential UFA and his large price tag.

I should say Sens 1st, high-end prospect, and roster player. This is the BFR type deal.

Seriously. Do we have a high-end prospect? We have Lazar, but I'm not sure you would necessarily consider him "high-end"...more like "reliable, predictable, and smiley".

Either way, we didn't give up a "high end" prospect for Ryan so I don't know why we keep insisting that in a "BFR type deal" we would be giving up more than we did for BFR for a lesser player in ROR.

If we're giving up a relatively high first rounder, there is nary a chance we'd also give up a "high-end" prospect (if we did actually have one). It might be something like 1st + Cowen...or whatever.

Yandle might be more of a possibility for Lehner. Good idea. Our trades with them normally work well for us.

Well, same person I heard the original rumour about ROR about a year back... it's not a winger or RNH they are after from the Oilers. Big LH center that's still a teen is who they want.

Well I think RON is gonna cost an arm and a leg and he has UFA risk written all over him. IF you get him he has to come re-signed and from what I hear they want a top 2 damn for him. The closest package we could put would be for Cowan but they would ask for Ceci and that won't work.
