I don't think I'd watch that show.

I really like #2. In many ways more than #1.
As for the Wachowskis, "V For Vendetta" and "Cloud Atlas" were supposed to be pretty good (haven't seen either one). "Jupiter Ascending" was widely panned. They really haven't done very much since the last Matrix (the ones above plus Speed Racer, which was OK for what it was).

wprager wrote:Well, as I suspected (even after reading all the rave reviews) Avengers - Age of Ultron was too busy, too loud. The story was too ludicrous (some jewel-like thingy is actually an extremely advanced computer? and yet somehow overnight -- with no API, no physical interface -- are the thought patterns in big-endian or little-endian? -- nothing at all except some ridiculous notion, Stark and Banner interface to it and create some AI; a very interesting bit of voice casting here). Back in my day Banner wasn't a computer genius, there weren't many computers around.
Whatever, I certainly didn't dislike it as much as Transformers but these Avengers movies are just too busy for me. On the other hand I really enjoyed both Captain America movies, and the firt Iron Man (didn't see the latest one). I guess I prefer it when they focus on a single supe.
Anyhow, if you like playing Super Smash Bros you'll enjoy it.
P.S. The whole movie I was sitting there wondering who was the voice of Ultron. I just *knew* that I knew who it was, recognized it almost immediately, an actor that I watch regularly, just couldn't figure it out until the credits. The Blacklist is one of my favorite shows, how could I not recognize Spader?
tim1_2 wrote:That's too bad about the new Avengers movie. I'd heard it wasn't nearly as good as the first one. Some of these comic book movies are just silly.
I thought the Thor ones were pretty good in addition to the ones you mention, Prags.
