I'm confused.  Didn't watch the match but I was in the breakroom when it was 3-3 in the 3rd set and Raonic was down 0-2.  So how does "Raonic takes the first set" work?  And then "Federer has taken the third set" -- what?  I see the edit on the earlier post, did you edit the wrong one?

You are confused. Milos won 6-3, 6-7 (3), 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.

So Raonic one the first set, Federer won the 2nd and 3rd, and then Raonic won the 4th and 5th. What is the problem?

The problem is that I thought I saw him being down 2 sets to none, and 3-3 in the third. Then on the radio they kept talking about him being down 2 sets and how having already come back from an 0-2 deficit earlier (against a much lower-seeded player) gave him the confidence that he could do it. This was on TSN690 (Montreal) so there was some static and perhaps I mis-heard what they said. But I honestly thought he was down 2 sets to none.

Maybe what I saw in the break room was a "flash back" to that earlier match where he was down 0-2.

"Night of ..." an 8-part miniseries on HBO. Watched episode 1 last night, looking forward to episode 2 tonight. Very good.

Yeah, I've heard it's really good. Also, that "Stranger Things" Netflix show has a ton of buzz right now too.

Yeah, it was a bit slow on advancing the story but we got lots of background. Andrea's parents are both dead and her step-father wants nothing to do with her; why did he (initially) like about recognizing her pictures? The lawyer has a black son and ex (too bad the didn't think of using Rosie Perez for the role of the ex -- would've been a nice "Do the Right Thing" reunion). Box likes opera music (but we heard that in the first episode already). Naz is slowly learning not to talk to anyone (he could teach Mike Ross a thing or two). Stone is a "subtle beast", very manipulative ("What's the harm in letting him see his parents" -- loved it when the sarge quietly asks if he should try to argue a little more or just let it go). Cons try to smuggle cellphones into prison by shoving them up their wazoo (try that with a 6" 'phablet', I dare you).

Im finding it very meh right now. The only really cool part is the 80's vibe they put into it.

You're right. I remember when they very clearly showed it at the crime scene, along with the evidence tag next to it. It was very deliberate. I hope this move (which of course is aimed at making him seem less beastly) backfires on him. Stone will surely catch it.

Well, not right now, but at 7 I'll be settling in some VIP seats for some Star Trek: Beyond.

I had fear that his one would be no good, but it's getting great reviews.

I haven't watched the old ones but the recent trilogy is pretty cool. Way better than watching a Marvel movie IMO.

Should I buy The Wire on Blu-ray or just download it. It's 99$ on amazon right now.

Start with all the odd-numbered ones Sarcasm

Seriously, though, if you never watched TOS then I doubt you'd like even the even numbered ones (and even those ones eventually turned bad). The better ones:

#2 Wrath of Kahn (cheesy early '80s special effects but otherwise good)
#4 The Voyage Home (one of the best, although a bit dated)
#6 Undiscovered Country (Hamlet in its original Klingon; Plummer was good)
#8 First Contact (first one without any of the original cast -- one of the best)

I didn't mind #7 (the first one with the Next Gen cast; and Shatner tags along for a victory lap) but it's not considered among the better ones.

The reboot in 2009 was excellent, and the sequel was very good as well. Hopefully #3 will get back to excellent.

It's on one of the streaming services. Doesn't Crave have it? Free for a month, I think.
