Broadchurch Series 2 starts tomorrow on ShowCase. S1 was fantastic (the US remake, Gracepoint, less so). I was really surprised that they made S2 because this was a murder mystery in a small, quaint seaside town (Broadchurch). A second murder mystery in such a small place would be implausible. So I'm quite intrigued as to what their plan it. So intrigued that I did a bit of googling. E1 aired in the UK 5 days ago so it's not that hard to find out what happened, but overall there's been a lot of secrecy as to the script (apparently they even filmed separate endings). Early reviews have been very positive.

I highly recommend it but if you haven't seen S1 then you have to watch that one first (unfortunately it's not on Netflix); the story picks up from the end of S1.

As for Gracepoint, it's interesting to watch only to see how Tenant reprises the role as an American detective. His Scottish accent slips in now and again (especially when he's playing angry).

Just watched the 12 Monkeys pilot. I love the movie, so was curious about the TV show. So far, pretty good.

I watched that movie Source Code. It was actually pretty good. Good date movie too.

The premise was extremely ridiculous. But I think my wife didn't care much because Jake Gyllenhaal was on screen all the time.

Interesting, I missed the promo during last year's Winter Olympics but they (NBC) are bringing back Heroes -- "Heroes Reborn" will play as a mini-series of sorts but, as always, if people tune in they'll make it into a series. So far Jack Coleman is back and Zach Levi (Chuck) is signed on for a "major" role. If you recall, his real-life wife is Missy Peregrym, who was in the original Heroes.

Porno Heroes? Don't forget that, while they had Nikki and Claire, they also had Hiro and Matt (Greg Grunberg).

Suits returns tonight. Meghan Markle for some, Sarah Rafferty for those with a more refined taste. I wonder if Luis' associate (Katrina) will return, as she's now a lead on 12 Monkeys.

Lilyhammer, watch it. It's a different type of show, very European/British in tone but if you like the Soprano's and you like dark and comedy mixed in, great show.

I'm glad the Sons have left Ireland. That part was awful.

It gets progressively worse as you go. When you see the club take off for an Ireland field trip, that's when things start going downhill.

Definitely watch the first couple of seasons though.

the ending of the season was excellent though. The last 5 episodes or so. Glad the Irish sons are gone though
