Twice today the sens have momentum, come close to scoring and miss, then penguins go the other way and score.

Well, this season started out in the crapper (lockout), went from bad (Spezza's back surgery) to worse (Karlsson's achilles), then had an amazing middle and, yeah, the end sucks, but it sucks ever year except for one team out of 30.

OK, who do we get at #17? How much can we move up? All that money we now spend on Gonchar goes to Alfie.

I hate to say it, and love Alfie, but we need to move on.

Gonchar is the reason the Sens are in the playoffs... he carried the load for a ton of games during the regular season and was a rock most of the time. His partner gave him no help either, Cowen was absolutely brutal.

Also really hope Karlsson gets his mojo back for next season. Paired with Methot, they'll be the best pairing in the league next season.
