Definitely felt tilted when you look at the numerous missed calls, twice on karlsson yet they ding karlsson for diving and slash at a crucial time at the end of the game. But also got away with no penalty shot call on methot taking down malkin. But yeah felt like there was zero hesitation to give penguins a powerplay. Whatever they and the penguins can suck on that shorty by alfie. Loved the look on lemiuex and his wife MJ

The ref was doing the Pens a favor. Malkin is 0 for 6 on in-game awarded penalty shots:

That's a set play they do all the time in practice. Karlsson's goal in the first game in Montreal was the same play but the shot was up off the ice.

Pageau is amazing, seriously a ridiculous story right now.

And he'll be a rookie next season. Could we see another Calder on the Sens roster?

Hard to say with Jones and Drouin etc., but if he plays like he is, I like his chances.

I think the only D man to ever win the Calder at 18 is Orr... Jones will not be winning that award, don't care how good he is.

By the way, looks like Neil was actually hurt on that play, not just milking it. When he went off the ice he didn't just go down the corridor but right to the dressing room. Game's in OT, don't think a player like Neil would want to miss it just to make a point.

So yet again, against the Penguins, we've lost Gryba, and now looks like we could be losing Neil.

Who steps in to replace Neil?

Sure, why not? He returned to Bingo after being green lit by doctors, I'm sure he could play. That said, I forgot about Kassian or O'Brien (who Mac seems to dislike enormously).

O'Brien will never play another game as a Sen, no chance. So many guys jumped him on the depth chart it isn't funny. Pageau made sure he will never get back in... might get a 5th or 6th for him at the draft.

I don't know what the #HAMR did to deserve the benching anyway.

Because he just isn't good enough, wasn't getting enough out of him. Fact is he is a border line NHL player and a 1st round bust. He might get to the 200 game mark with some luck but he has no offensive skill at all. Also, his work ethic has been a question for a very long time even if it has improved, obviously not enough to stay in an NHL lineuo. Even Regin is ahead of him on the depth chart and he prob doesn't play another game for the Sens again.

Oh I agree but there were times where you shake your head that Kassian is in the lineup over the #HAMR

The #HAMR of justice will have to find a new team. Looks like he is well-liked at least.

Hopefully someone takes him. Otherwise, for the amount of money he makes, he might be a good Black Ace next year.
