Sweet. Missed the goal, but I'll replay it later. That penalty on Neil, I'm a bit ambivalent. Hate hits on icings, but in this case I think he genuinely did not know. I didn't know it was icing myself, neither did DelZotto, I don't think. But fine, sure, give him a minor, but don't forget to hand a matching one to the guy qho came charging in while Neil had his arms in an "Sorry, I didn't know" pose.

Turris was +1 with 4 shots. How'd he play? I only caught the last four minutes.

Turris (and the Sens) played awesome. Great game, no negatives.

I like how the 4 Senators that we Canadians stuffed the ballots for ended up with 6 pts.

Hey, I hear Spezza only "pads his stats" in "meaningless" games....

Well holy Cussing Dung, that was awesome. Not often you have a goalie who outplays Lundqvist, and that's exactly what Matrix did tonight. He was spectacular.

We played that 3rd period perfectly, playing great team D, and then capitalizing on our opportunities. Michalek's goal was beautiful, and exemplified his style: speed, strength, and a whole lotta finish.

Karlsson had another great game at both ends. On that PP in the 3rd, he steps up at his own blueline to pick off a pass that would've sent a Rag in all alone. That's balls, guts, whatever, but you can tell he's extremely confident.

Anyway, just amazing.
