For the ppl pulling for Kirk Muller to be coaching the senators, you should be hoping Montreal goes on bit of a run here. If they're ousted in the first round, is it unrealistic to expect JM to be fired and be replaced with Kirk Muller? I think not. And already JM isn't a Pierre Gauthier guy (although their history dating back to the sens might help Martin).

How so? I'm pretty sure they knew Gauthier was going to replace Gainey when they hired JM. From what i understood at the time it was a joint decision from both.

I want the Habs to get bounced in the first round in 4 straight. That is my wish.

Muller's not bilingual, he'll never be the head coach in Montreal. He's already told them he's leaving at the end of the season when his contract is up.

He'll be a head coach somewhere.

What? I think they'll make an exception if Muller doesn't speak french. Besides where did he say he's leaving for sure? I would think his only desire to leave is to be a head coach somewhere....and that very well could still be montreal.

His contract is up this year and it's no secret he wants to be a head coach. It's been all over the media in Montreal.

Montreal head coach needs to be able to deal with the French media, they never have and never will hire a unilingual coach.

No Zetterberg either. Haven't checked to see if that's been posted:

*Too bad I only read it after I made my bracket picks Sad

Can't you change your picks up until the puck drops?

Since I'm the administrator I guess I could. It just wouldn't be, how should I put it -- morally upright. I had to enter my picks before seeing anyone else's, and some people started *posting* their picks (this thread, I think). So rather than averting my eyes I figured I'd just make my picks early.

What I really need (and I'll try to get for the following rounds) is an impartial third party to collect all the picks.

Ditto. And everyone on here should be in the brackets for bragging rights. Put your...guesses where your mouth is.

When I suggested that you could change your picks before puck drop, I meant a general, inclusive "you." I assumed that anyone could make changes before game time. I can't remember if you addressed that in the rules you posted, but I figured that it was the case. If not, fair enough.

It's not stipulated, strictly speaking, but it makes it a hell of a lot more difficult for me if people change their minds. I've got 18 people in the draft -- half of them didn't bother reading the part about how I wanted the picks in a specific format and order (TB instead of TBL is easy enough, but then I get "caps in 6" instead of "WAS6", and throw in some random order for the picks). I wouldn't want to have to do it multiple times.

Ha. Fair enough. For the record, I sent my picks before you stipulated the format. I thought about sending them again, but figured I'd be unnecessarily cluttering your inbox. Correct format next round!
