lol who cares
I care when a team is practically so close to moving on and improving one of our picks just to choke it away and lose to a less experienced tampa team.
Improving a 6th to a 7th is like upgrading from VCR to HD-DVD.
do you even think about the comebacks you write? HD DVD >>>> VCR, nevermind the fact the technology died out. If that was the improvement, I'd be even more pissed we missed out on a 6th rounder.
its okay, I'm still waiting for the inevitable to happen after tampa delayed it by winning game 5.
EDIT: you probably should have said VCD....man those things were awful
The point is, both VCR and HD-DVD are equally worthless. Pretty much the same with 6th and 7th round picks.
LOL I guess should look at the bigger picture rather than the literal comparison of qualities. With that said, I wouldn't say an extra 6th rounder is worthless. Put it this way, if the sens wanna move around a few times in the draft to get someone they like, it'd be nice to have a luxury of a higher pick. I'm sure if the sens offered a 6th rounder instead of a 7th rounder, it would perk up the interest of a GM a little more. Or that the sens offer up their 5th because they have the benefit of 2 sixth rounders. Possibilities are plenty.
And yes, as Spader said, you can find alot of hidden gems in the 6th and 7th rounder. And just to piss you off some more, Mark Stone is a keeper and an absolute f'ing steal!!!! (did it work?)
