For better or for worse Clouston does seem to favor players whom he has coached before(Regin, Shannon, Elliott, Svatos etc.) I can't imagine the rest of the team not noticing it, much less liking it.

Clouston coached Svatos in Kootenay years ago. He talked about it when we pulled him off waivers.

Often you need somewhat opposites in your head/assistant coaches: good cop/bad cop, or technician/motivator. I would argue that Muller could be a great assistant coach if he's put in the "good cop" role next to a ball-breaker. I just don't have a good feeling about him being *the* head coach.
