GAME DAY:Ottawa Senators @ New York Rangers - 7:00pm ET - THU. Mar. 24, 2011
"Start spreadin' the news!"
The Ottawa Senators (27-37-9, 63 pts) visit the New York Rangers (40-30-4, 84 pts) Thursday night. Ottawa is coming off a disappointing loss which saw them give up a 2 nothing lead to eventually lose 4-3.
The Rangers are back on track and look to be comfortably in the 7th seed coming in with a 5 game winning streak on the line. New York won't be playing with as much desperation as their last meeting but should handle the Sens with relative ease. The real wild card here is what kind of goaltending Ottawa gets in this game. If Anderson is good to go and plays like he can then this one could be another dagger in the tires of the tank bus.
