So some NHL scout is saying that the Leafs are shopping Kessel around. The sad thing is, at this point, Burke would probably trade him to Boston for that first rounder back, but Chiarelli likely wouldn't make the deal, even though they need goals.

Boston needs goals? They are the 4th highest scoring team in the league, and the 2nd highest scoring team in the East.

Did not know that. [ hangs head in shame ]

I also did not know that they are giving up a ton of shots per game. Apparently their "defensive" excellence is Tim Thomas and his .938 SV%.
