Lemaire a Jack Adams candidate? I would assume he'll be in the running- for sure if the Devils keep it up and sneak in (would require an .800+ winning % down the stretch, but the Devils have been playing that for a while now).

I don't know. He didn't even coach a full season. That's gotta count for something. Plus, does anyone really really see them playing .800 for what amounts to half a season when it's all said and done? I can't see them keeping up this pace.

I know there have been coaches who've been considered after taking a job early in the year, but by the team the regular season ends Lemaire will only have coached 49 games. Doesn't seem fair to the other guys. Granted if they keep up this .800 clip they've been on he's got to be considered, but I just can't see that happening.

I can't see the current pace being kept up, but I can still envision a nomination, if a playoff push continues.

Back the games in progress right now; I can't keep my eyes off all three. Channel surfing like crazy trying to keep up to the action.

That didn't look good. O'Donnell just left the game, with what looked like a knee injury. The announcers are already saying that he will not return.
