So did Edmonton. Devils at least got a loser point.

No more winning on our end can only be a good thing right now.

Spezza is supposed to be back today; there is no way our recent results will continue at its current pace though.

If my numbers are correct, the Sens went 1-10-4 without Spezza this time around.

I quite clearly remember SpezDispenser and I being shocked by the move from the Florida Panthers to waive Michael Grabner after training camp.

The Islanders plucked him off waivers and he currently has 15 goals on the season on Long Island.

The Panthers leading goal scorers, Weiss and Booth have 15 on the year as well.

Four months later, I still scratch my head at the Panthers decision to waive Grabner.

Yeah, I've been afraid of that for some time now. I wish we could get Spezza to take next year's injury early ... Wink

you gotta give it up for them.....they didn't have a snowball's chance in hell earlier when they were a few points above edmonton for the western basement contest. And then a GM gets replaced and they just take off....amazing.

Imagine if spezza didn't get injured against the penguins....would we be in this situation?

They'll be able to pick up a big name at the deadline now if he goes on LTIR. They gotta take a shot at a UFA-to-be, like Richards.

Wow! I wouldn't be surprised if his season's done. Isn't it 4-6 months for an ACL? He's torn both.

Some news outlets are saying he's "likely" done for the season.

I guess the Penguins are gonna to find out the hard way if Staal is a legit top line centreman. Laugh1
