Wow! I wouldn't be surprised if his season's done. Isn't it 4-6 months for an ACL? He's torn both.

Some news outlets are saying he's "likely" done for the season.

I guess the Penguins are gonna to find out the hard way if Staal is a legit top line centreman. Laugh1

Well he isn't, and they don't really ever need him to be one, so I don't know why they would need to find that that lol

He's seeking a second opinion on rehab vs. surgery. Will the ligaments regrow or re-attach by them selves? I don't think a player like him -- who relies on sharp turns, quick starts and stops -- can play without them. Maybe someone like Esposito back in the day -- stand in the crease and bang in the rebonds -- but not Malkin. Anyhow, if he's still trying to get out of the surgery I think it's because surgery means he's out until summer -- no playoffs.

He's got to be done.

Corey Perry with a hat trick today for the Ducks. Another dude coming into his own. That's 28 on the year for him.

Three afternoon games, three shutouts & low-scoring games.

Somewhere, Bettman is crying his eyes out.

Far and away the best "pest" in the league.

Outplaying 3 high-priced forwards who shall remain nameless. Sarcasm

Wonder if they "tweaked" their gun to ensure a higher score than the NHL.
