Thing are about to get serious for Phillips I think. If Kaberle doesn't waive, then you can have an inter-division war for him between Montreal and Boston - to join with inter-conference interest from other teams. The return could be interesting.

And with so few teams as sellers, perhaps Kovalev is worth more than we think (I think a 3rd would be amazing personally).

I have never heard of Dallas Dave, but I have said many times that Phillips is as good as gone.

Bryan Murray, on media call, says Chris Phillips (NTC) hasn't got back to him just yet on what he wants to do... Murray won't pressure him

I mentioned this in the Fisher thread I believe. I think he'd be a great pickup, seen him play a bunch with the Petes, the guy can put the puck in the net.
