Will be very interesting to see the hypocrisy of a league that wouldn't punish Matt Cooke for pretty much ending Marc Savard's career but will suspend Nick Foligno for a so-so borderline hit.
Borderline or not, it's the type of hit that they are (finally) trying to remove from the game. I'd have no problem if Nick got suspended, but I would not be surprised if they don't: no call, the guy got up right away, Foligno has no priors.
Wasn't Cooke's hit on Savard before the *new* rule?
