It's one thing for a young player to make honest mistakes while learning the game, but it's completely different for him to look complacent, lazy and uninterested while doing it.

Mike Brodeur. Suffered a concussion last Friday...so if Leclaire is hurt then Lehner might be the only option to backup Elliott.

Things change so quickly in the NHL. Player development is light years ahead of even five years ago. Who knows? Maybe Lehner is ready to compete at the NHL level, even as a 19-year-old. I hope the guys getting paid six and seven figure salaries can be certain of the answer.
