Cane and are we ABLE?
Ottawa Senators (36-24-4, 1st in the Northeast and 3rd in the Eastern Conference) visit the Carolina Hurricanes (25-30-7, last in the Southeast and 14th in the Eastern Conference) Thursday evening. The Sens are coming off a well deserved loss after some extremely sloppy play that led to 3 goals in a 2 minute and 2 second span in the second period. Meanwhile the red hot canes are coming off of a 5-1 beat down of the Leafs.
This is anything but a cake walk despite the Canes current standings and the house cleaning that has gone on in Carolina. Ward has been outstanding during the Hurricanes 11-3-0 run over the past 14 games however, his back injury has him out indefinitely. Sutton comes to the Sens at a potentially key time with Kuba going down with a lower body injury. No word on the severity as of yet.

Carolina traded away Joe "Sens Killer" Corvo but hung onto Ray Whitney.
