That's probably about it, maybe a guy like Ballard if he's on the block, but other then that... He would also be a good guy to look at.
GM Hockey
POLL: Zbynek Michalek or Anton Volchenkov

Not even close, if you can give them a forward and perhaps Lee to replace Burns (well kind of) you might be able to get him. If Cullen is resigned you can almost bet Foligno is on his way out so, who knows.
Foligno, Lee, and Ruutu for Burns and a 3rd or 4th (totally random)
N4L wrote:Perhaps, Folingo has that potential even though I doubt he gets there, but he might. I dunno, there are other guys like O'Brien, Bass, so on who might be able to get thrown in there too.
Either way, I dont see Minny giving up Burns, just a thought though. I would pretty much garentee that Murray makes a trade for a legit top 4, offensive D man though.

Now just pray the cap goes up by 1 million
Okay, let me have a look at the numbers. Cullen's off by 300K, Ladd by 250K , so you're off by 550K IMO, plus GMs always want 1-2 million in cap space for injuries, let's call it 1 million, so you're 1.5 million + 900K, so 2.4 million over.
Close though. I thought you were gonna conveniently forget to put someone in there.
Campoli paired with Karlsson? No thanks. Carkner breaking in a rookie? No thanks. I'd be worried about both those pairings, although each for different reasons.

I have 100% faith in Bryan Murray. What he did here to clean things up in the last 2 years is astounding IMO.
I still think it'll be Michalek, but I can see him trying to acquire someone if that doesn't work.

How can you tell at this point? Laich has a great year this year, we can only hope Regin matches or even surpasses that, but I wouldn't set that in stone.
